Nico was also impressed by Dionysus and called him “the wine dude”, after saying he had his figurine in Mythomagic, and talked to him about the defence points all the gods had in the game. Osteokinesis: As seen in The Blood of Olympus, Nico is able to summon and telekinetically control bones. Prior to his fight with Lycaon in Évora he could only summon a few bones and skulls, but during his encounter with the Wolf King, he was able to summon hundreds of bones, enough to temporarily trap Lycaon and his wolves. In The Sun and the Star: A Nico di Angelo Adventure, Nico transforms a finger bone into a literal skeleton key for Persephone's Garden. Later, Nico is able to create a half-pipe out of thousands of human, animal, giant and monster bones to break his and Will's fall into Tartarus, although Nico passes out from the effort afterwards.

Despite earlier texts naming Octavian as a legacy of Apollo, Rachel Elizabeth Dare calls him a son of Apollo. While Annabeth was keeping Mimas occupied, Piper released the makhai from the statue of Ares, much to the giant's outrage. When the makhai seemingly disappear and "abandon" Piper, Mimas charged her with his hammer, but was stabbed by Annabeth in the thigh. As he staggered off-balance, Piper delivered the final blow by stabbing the giant in his gut. Mimas toppled face-first into the nearest doorway and disintegrated into ash when the stone face of Phobos falls onto him, as the god apparently decided to intervene to help get rid of him after Piper sacrificed her Cornucopia to get the makhai.

Magnus, Alex, Sam, Blitz, and Hearth travel to Utgard Lanes, with Sam flying with Hearth while the others ride Stanley Hades rarely made appearances in the household, in fear that the other gods would notice that he had a son and a daughter.
